FEBRUARY GENERAL MEETING - on 02/12/12 (Miniature Schnauzer Grooming Demonstration)
The March General Meeting for the club is Sunday, February 12th at 11:00 AM.
We will be demonstrating basic grooming techniques for our wonderful little companions. We will demonstrate several different ways to cut toenails, even for those dogs that are difficult. We will explain how important it is to remove hair from the ears and how to get the job done. We will do the first haircut on Dan and Leslie Hanley's seven month old black & silver puppy, Fiona. Bring your questions. Bring your ideas. Bring your dogs. We will have several tables and arms, lots of equipment, and, hopefully, the answers to your basic grooming questions.
There will be a pot luck lunch after some of the grooming. Please bring a dish to share. The club will provide drinks and barbequed chicken.
The meeting is at Brooke Walker's house. 3129 Country Club Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.

MSCSC CLUB MEMBERS MEET AUSTRALIAN CLUB PRESIDENT
On December 7, 2010 MSCSC members Ron and Doris Stoltenberg were thrilled to meet with David Ritzau, President of the Miniature Schnauzer Club of NSW Inc. in Sydney, Australia. The only Miniature Schnauzer Club in Australia.
Tania Kidd had been corresponding with him and put the Stoltenberg's in contact with David, so they were able to meet.
David brought his laptop computer and showed them numerous photos and pedigrees of Miniature Schnauzers in Australia. It was very informative.
MSCSC had sent three calendars to the Australian club to use as prizes at their Specialty November 18, 2010. David had won one of them with his dog. He thanked our club for the contribution to their show. He had praise for Tania Kidd and her contributions to the international information flow concerning Schnauzers.
The Stoltenberg's only had a few hours to exchange information with David but they hope to keep in touch via the internet and perhaps David will be able to visit sometime. Below is the logo for the Miniature Schnauzer Club of NSW Inc. in Sydney, Australia.
